Arriving about an hour before showtime, I walked a very short distance to the venue entrance at Chastain Park. If you want to see a concert in a great venue, let me say that Chastain Park is the place to go. Despite some problems with the monitors, Bahamas put on a fantastic show and the venue staff were extremely nice and attentive. She stopped a couple of times to tell the sound guy what needed to be done to prevent the issues on stage. The audience enjoyed singing along to her songs, and she even drifted off the setlist to let the crowd choose what they wanted to hear. Bahamas really exceeded my expectations multiple times over. The concert was one of the best I have been to in a good while, with a wonderful voice from a legend. While parking can be a pain, there is plenty of curb parking along the streets around the park if you get there early enough.
